"Photoshop Introduction"


Who uses photoshop ?

  Tools that photographers use in photoshop are
  • Cropping 
  • Correcting Exposure 
  • Restoring and Retouching Images 

Two examples you can use in the latest version of photoshop are 
  • Creating Cartoons

Crop Tool - Is used to cut off a portion of your photo that you may not like or make it smaller .

Lasso Tool-is used to select a specific part of a photo and draw a shape in your photo. 

Text Tool -It allows you to add text to your image.

What Buttons Do You Push on a keyboard  to "undo" a mistake you made ? - 
 Command-Z (Mac) or CTRL-Z (PC) is the “undo” command that will undo the last action you took.

What can you open to "undo " more than one mistake ? To undo more than one action, you have to pull up the History palette. You can do this by going to theWindow –> History menu.

What is  a histogram and why is it useful ?
A histogram is simply a visual guide to the range of tones or brightness levels in an image. It can be viewed on your camera’s LCD screen alongside an image after you’ve taken it
 
How do you rotate an image?
 Go to the image menu and select Image Rotation.

11 . You can cancel the crop by pressing the Esc key to cancel the crop

12. his is sometimes at the center of some confusion because if you lock in dimensions, your crop box will be forced into a certain ratio.You need to fill the width and height of the tool box.

13.150 to 200 ppi

14. 250 ppi or more
