Aperture & Shutter Speed Practice

   SET 1 :
SET 1 :

  • F4  – looks the best at __1 /125___ of a second shutter speed.
  • F5.6 – looks the best at __1/60___ of a second shutter speed.
  • F8  – looks the best at ___1/60__ of a second shutter speed.
  • F11  – looks the best at ___1/60__ of a second shutter speed.
  • F16  – looks the best at ___1/30__ of a second shutter speed.
  • F22  – looks the best at ___1/8__ of a second shutter speed.

SET 2 : 
  
  • At F4 how much background is visible? Is it blurry or in focus? How much?
  •  The background is blurry , its pretty much all blurred out .
  • At F5.6how much background is visible? Is it blurry or in focus? How much?
  •  The background is blurry you can kind of see what is in the background but not quite yet .
  • At F8 how much background is visible? Is it blurry or in focus? How much?
  •  The background is way more visible the colors are better and you can see it more .
  • At F11 how much background is visible? Is it blurry or in focus? How much?
  •  The texture is kind of blurry but the colors are a bit blurry .
  • At F16 how much background is visible? Is it blurry or in focus? How much?
  •  The Background is more visible but still not really clear
  • At F22 how much background is visible? Is it blurry or in focus? How much?
  • The background is really visible and the colors are perfectly clear 
1. Consider what is happening to the people themselves at slow Shutter Speeds.
     They seem blurry and they have no color
2. In a real shooting situation, what should the photographer do to lessen this problem?
     He should shoot in a faster shutter speed .
3. What combination of aperture and shutter speed do you think produces the best portrait? Why?
   I think the best combination of shutter speed and aperture would be 1/60 F/ 8 because the lighting and the background have a perfect balance .
